| How to Join thingreentank THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST IN JOINING US! What does it mean, to join the tank? My intention in creating this site is to gather all the good ideas that I know are out there. We all live in our own personal worlds, where thoughts, emotions, passions and in the artist's mind, creativity, live and change constantly. Ideas need wings . This think tank is for creators that have an awareness of the truth in our lives, including concerns about the Environment, a peaceful state of mind where creativity can flourish, and what our role is in this Earth as another one of the wondrous species of the planet. We are wizards, we pull something out of parallel dimensions, the place where creativity happens, and we bring it to this world, to a physical world, as objects, or buildings or fine art. Like minded people are the ones for whom this site was created. My interest is in creating a virtual town square, where people gather and connect. In the town square the artists sell their work, writers and poets recite their wares, fine artists place easels and paint or sculpt the landscape. In the town square people meet and collaborate, or make connections that will help them reach their goals. It is tongue in cheek, unpretentious, everyday and at the same time, priceless. It is what it is. thinkgreentank provides you your own soap box, your stall in the market, your personal salon. What kind of stuff is in the tank? The celebration going on at this particular town square is what I call the Green Creativity Movement To me, anything that comes out of the realm of the nonexistent unto the world of physical reality as we experience it, in order to improve, beautify, revolutionize what is not working and unite us to the sublime, is art. This is a place for art in all its manifestations: environmental and green engineering and design, fitness and martial arts, healthy eating and cooking, philosophy and peace of mind, pure invention, reclaiming and reusing... ... beauty, music, poetry... I would like to unite thoughts and things that make us feel hopeful and healthy as well as conscious of the fact that we are powerful, that we create our own worlds, that our words have power and our work, meaning. As the wizards that we are, we creators make a difference in the world by bringing forth the hidden (or not so hidden) morsels of truth from the unknown universe onto our inmediate environments, and this way, we impress, alter and mold our own evolution. My intention is to have anyone be able to join the thinkgreentank. But because I run this site on my own, and it is brand new as of March 09, I am editing entries. It is intended for professional designers and artists, although student work will be reviewed. I am an industrial designer and the only editor for the submittals. What do I get exactly? What do I need to supply? Your name will appear as a link on the home page for thinkgreentank as well as a title of your choosing. So, you'd need to provide both. This will take your guests to your home page. |
